When I started this series, it took me awhile to get into the first book - first 30 pages or so were slow because I was trying to identify the people in the book, the places, etc. But it was worth it! This series is such a good read and exemplifies the values I care about - the grace of God that cover us no matter what we do, the importance of family, forgiveness, etc. I originally got the series because I like Rachel Hauck so much. Her "Wedding Dress" book has been passed around Birmingham, Ala. where I live because it's about our city. Also one of my sister-in-law's friends' daughter is friends with Rachel and recommended to us. All of my reading group - about 10 of us have read it and loved that book. Now we're all reading the Songbird series and loving them.

I have been a fan of Sara Evans music for a long time but had no idea what a great author she would be. This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. I couldn't put it down. Way to go Sara and Rachel. I hope there are many more books to come!!
Enjoyed. The three book series
there are 3 books in this series, they are all great. be sure to read in sequence!
After I finally got into it. It took me a while but, I really did get into it. I understood it too well because a lot of things hit really close to home.
bought the trilogy and loved the reading. A nice romance that brings in and then tests faith. THAT is hard to find....
Loved the life trials, some familiar and some observed in others. A story replete with belief and the atonement that all can be forgiven- no matter what. A good reminder to all.
