From award winning screenwriter and bestselling author Dustin Stevens comes the first book under the pseudonym T.R. Kohler, a gripping action thriller with equal parts suspense and mystery!

Five years ago, Remy Bomar found himself on the wrong end of a military operation in Syria that went terribly wrong, the results catastrophic, his reaction to walk away just years short of his pension and return to his family in Oregon. There he stays, tucked away from the world, until recent events force him out of hiding.

Those events? Someone is terrorizing major cities across the country, opening fire on sacred lands, with no regard for human life. Authorities are convinced these are the acts of an international organization, but Bomar has an aching suspicion that something else is afoot, something that calls back to being out in the desert years before.

Joining forces with a disgraced young FBI agent and an enterprising young reporter, the unlikely trio must race across the country to unravel what is going on, and bring it to an end before anybody else gets hurt.

Shoot to Wound A Suspense Thriller eBook T.R. Kohler Reviews

A small insight into the mind of a military hero and sniper and the torture he endured after his last mission. Coupled with a different outcome of a fellow sniper and the drive of a rookie FBI agent brings the need for better medical and emotional support for our veterans to the forefront.
Rarely do you find an author that is so in touch with the the reality that affects us daily. I would recommend this book to anyone, make or female, who has the slightest interest in the welfare and future of our country and those who serve it. If there were more than five stars, this would certainly have deserved them.
I don't often give a five stars rating, but this book was written with lots of truth in how our government officials have treated our veterans lately. My brother died of cancer from agent Orange, and his family received $250 for his burial. Gotta love those politicians.
The book is poorly edited and has some glaring errors. One of the main characters, Remy Bomar is inexplicably referred to as Van several times in the book - this was confusing. His background is military - the author says he was a scout sniper Gunnery Sergeant in the US Army. But, a Gunnery Sergeant is what an E7 rank is called in the US Marine Corps. An E7 in the US Army is a Sergeant First Class. Also, scout sniper is a Marine Corps term, not Army.

The author also describes an M24 sniper rifle and more than once refers to the telescopic sight as a Leopold. The scope used on an M24 is most often supplied by Leupold - not Leopold.

He says one of the characters eyes dilated when he entered a brightly lit room after stepping in from the twilight outside. This is the opposite of what would happen. Pupils dilate to allow more light to enter - they contract when exposed to bright light.

These errors and a choppy storyline really put me off.
It was so unusual to read a book that was really by Dustin Stevens and I didn't care for it. Kept putting it down and finally decided to finish reading it. Can't imagine the FBI being on inept! Oh well, it just was a book. Lots of mistakes and Remy was named as Van in a lot of the book. What gives with Stevens. This wasn't under his name and I can see why. Please keep writing but not like this. Please check and EDIT the book before selling it.
One of Dustin Steven's (AKA T R Kohler) best. Well developed plot line and believable characters. only flaw I found was that copy review was sloppier than usual for Stevens in that there were more than a few typos, missing words and obvious computer generated word replacement. Perhaps I am a bit fussy about that but better copy review is needed. Good story that will hold you in suspense until the end.
This is the stupidest plot, I have read. It makes the FBI look like a bunch of idiots. Also, it avoided all the criminal activity committed by the 3 main characters.
Also people who can't even find clean clothes like the 2 female characters would be nicely considered slobs.
Should re-titled 'PIGS IN ACTION'.
Read the whole book just to see if it had any redeeming value. There was none.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but this book is lacking.....something. The overall story’s concept was interesting enough but it didn’t deliver.

There was a name frequently used incorrectly (Remy often referred to as Van) which caused confusion and required re-reading the text, and huge leaps of logic used by Remy to track the killer. Seemed impossible for Remy to draw those conclusions based on Yeager’s desert diatribe years before.

I couldn’t quite embrace the trio of protagonists and the antagonist didn’t garner much sympathy either. There was no real conclusion to the story other than the trio going their separate ways at the end.

An abrupt ending to an unsatisfying story.
